Welcome to De Wet Leitch Hands Inc

De Wet Leitch hands Inc is an established law firm in Ballito.

Founded in 2001 by Jonathan de Wet, who was joined by Ray Leitch and later, Michael Hands, the firm has grown solidly and steadily to become a highly respected legal force in the region. The Directors had all practised independently at that level, gaining a wealth of experience, before combining to provide a full-spectrum legal service. All of our attorneys live in the area and are entrenched in the community. This provides continuity – a valuable commodity in an area and an industry which has seen law firms come and go.

Clients no longer have to look to Umhlanga and Durban for the best legal advice. In fact, the opposite is happening – DLH Inc is seen having evolved into a regional centre for legal services. We are conveniently situated in Ballito at Kirsty Close, the Well.

We have expertise in civil and criminal litigation, corporate and commercial law, conveyancing, family law, insolvency law and business rescue. Clients benefit from the firms’ team-approach – sharp legal minds pool expertise to achieve optimum outcomes for any client.

Another core value is our client centred approach. At the heart is understanding client needs, remaining accessible, being friendly, and keeping clients “in the loop” at all times. Reviews of legal matters and developments are communicated regularly.

Within the complex legal practice field, we see ourselves playing an educative role – legal processes, procedures, implications and potential outcomes are carefully explained and discussed with clients.

Our attorneys attend regular seminars and professional updates, extremely important in a profession where laws are frequently changed.

Directors and staff are dedicated and passionate about what they do – every day.
